Victoria Beckham's Reported Menopause Routine Includes Crystals, Tequila and Apple Cider

Crystals in every room, tequila for her bones and apple cider with hot lemon every morning: that is Victoria Beckham's reported menopause playbook, according to Heatworld. The tabloid's source says the 52-year-old fashion designer feels "sexier than ever."

Every detail comes from one anonymous "insider." Heatworld's own copy says only that sources "tell heat."

The source says Beckham "has confided that, despite all the scary stories around menopause, she currently feels she's blossoming." Heatworld's source adds that husband David Beckham "can't keep his hands off her" and that there is "more of a spark than ever" in the bedroom. The source also says she worries, like "many women her age," about losing her vitality and sex appeal.

Beckham has talked about aging on the record. In a May 27 interview with The Times, reported by People via AOL, she said she does "more now than what I was doing when I was 20 and 30" in her workouts, and that "you don't have to give up just because you're 50." She also called "anti-aging" "a good marketing line," adding, "I don't believe that anything topical can stop the aging process." That sits awkwardly next to the insider's talk of a "fountain of youth."

None of that comes from Beckham about menopause or sex, and the "sexy at 52" framing belongs to the tabloid. The on-record Beckham is a woman who says she cares less what others think. "I can own the narrative now," she told The Times.
