Keri Russell is giving the fans what they want. On Oct. 8 during an episode of Chelsea Handler's podcast, Dear Chelsea, the actress revealed she and her now-partner Matthew Rhys had sex “all the time” while filming the FX spy drama, "The Americans." And yes — oftentimes while still wearing their characters’ wigs and disguises.
"We were falling in love and staying up all night and having sex all the time and just wearing disguises, like, I'm f—king [in] crazy wigs and wearing pearls," she said.
"When have you ever worn pearls and [been] f—king in trailers and f—king everywhere?" Russell continued. "I mean, it was insanity." She added, "It was so fun and sneaky, and sexy, and so good."
The pair played Soviet KGB officers posing as a married couple on the FX series. The Americans aired for six seasons, ending in 2018.
Russell, 50, and Rhys, 51, started dating in late 2013, after her split from ex-husband Shane Deary. They share a 10-year-old son, Sam.
The actress also said on the podcast that she and Rhys are in no rush to marry after 13 years together.
"I've had a big party, you know. I get to dress up all the time, and I know for a lot of people, marriage is something different," she said. "People used to be married to have a credit card. We can have credit cards now. I don't need my last name to go away."
